Dartistry as Scheduled or Postpone it?
This letter is to the 100+ Circuit players who are either QUALIFIED or ELIGIBLE to PLAY in this next 32nd DFW Dartistry Championships and to those who are close to their eligibility. As we ALL KNOW, this has been a MINDBOGGLINGLY and CHALLENGING year, nationally, personally and in OUR OWN little DART Community. It has affected us ALL, emotionally, spiritually, financially, and some of us physically as well. All because of some little virus that has MOST of the World in FEAR (“False Evidence Appearing Real”). There are some of US who are not as fearsome concerning the virus as WE are of those currently in POWER to USE this situation as a means to gain more control over every ones’ individual rights, freedoms, and property. OK, that’s enough on these subjects for now. We can meet on Facebook, Twitter, and/or other Social Media sites to discuss them further, if you care to.
Now for the IMPORTANT Part of this Post.
The 32nd DFW Dartistry is scheduled for January 15th & 16th of 2021. It was scheduled since last January with us expecting to have a FULL 12 months to raise the exciting $5,000 in Dartistry funds which includes Payouts and Prizes. OOOPS that didn’t happen! ‘Pandemic Panic’ set in, clubs and bars were closed, and public darts was literally GONE for 4 months. Therefore, we are $1,500 short of our GOAL. By the end of December, we will have only collected about $3,500 -$3,800.
Here are ‘the questions’ that require a response from MOST of you for whom this concerns.
Do we HOLD the Dartistry as scheduled, but with this less amount of funds?
Do we postpone it till the end of March when we’ve collected the whole $5,000 or more? Please respond.
We need to hear from at least 1/3rd of you before Dec 7th, so we can start preparing for it without stress if y’all want the Dartistry as is and as scheduled.
