TOC II

Tournament of Champions – Sunday, May 23rd, 1999

The day started at 11:15 a.m. with Gary Petty, Mike Kasper, Kevin Whiteley, Alex Schaer, and myself … putting up the dart standards and getting ready for the tournament. We used eight standards rented from the DDA. Tom Form from the DDA met Scott Bankly, Scooter’s owner and myself at the storage park to pick up the standards the day before.

People started showing up around 12:30 to 1:00pm. We were set up by then, so Sara, Kasper, and myself starting taking sign-ups. 104 people signed up for this TOC. That is twenty more than the Jan 99 TOC. We had 213 people qualify this time, so our % was only 49% where we had 51% previously. The tournament was over by 11:30 p.m. Everyone seemed to have a great time and the party continued for some till well after midnight.
