Senior 55+ Dart Player Reunion and Tournament

Besides the above players, there were over 40 to 60 other Dart Family members from times current and past who came to visit old friends and have a GREAT time. It was a Blast!
On Saturday, October 16th, 2021, All DFW Dart players 55 years and older are Invited to join us for a Long Overdue Get-to-Gether and Dart Tournament (for those who still have ‘the Itch’ to play and can find their darts) to Reminisce, Share Hugs and stories, update each other on their lives, play Darts, and say HI before its too late to say Goodbye. When you get here, please thank Mark Bunch and Roy Bacon for initiating this idea and arranging for AA2 to Host this event.
AA2 opens for lunch at 11 AM.
Sign-Ups for those who care to play in the Tournament begin at 1 PM.
The Tournament starts at 2 PM
Entry Fee is $12 ($10 to tourney & $2 to Honey Pot) with AA2 adding $8 per player to the overall 100% payout.
Max of 64 players.
Format:
This will be a Modified BLIND DRAW (No two women on a team) DOUBLE ELIMINATION Tournament.
2 of 3 games in the Winners’ Bracket (501 SS/DO, Slop Cricket w points, and if the match has to go to the 3rd game, winner of the BULL chooses the game between 501 or Cricket)
Last Chance (Losers’) Bracket will be ONE GAME – Bull’s Choice between 501 or Cricket.

The OLDEST PLAYER to enter the tournament (if they really want to admit it) WINS a $55 Gift Certificate to ??. There will be a 55-60″ TV RAFFLE ($5 a ticket – $20 gets you 5 tickets). All funds over the cost of the TV will be added to the tourney payout or used for additional prizes given away throughout the day. The winner of the TV will be drawn at the beginning of the Last Chance Bracket. The winner does NOT have to be present to WIN.

AA2 will not only be adding be $8 per player, but also giving a Specific surprise Shot to everyone who enters the tourney.
Please understand, that Sara, myself, and the others who thought this up and requested this be done have made a LOT of friends and acquaintances during the last 35 to 50 years we have been playing DARTS. Some of them have moved, some have died, some have quit playing (how?). But everyone of them have remained our friends. We miss them.
This EVENT is Not about the tournament as much as it about the opportunity to see ours and YOUR friends again and if you choose to play the game we ALL enjoy(ed) so much the better. You don’t have to stay or play. but we will be here ALL day, so come say HI before its too late to say goodbye.
